Craig Burhart built Skallywag Tactical the same way he’s lived his life—hands-on, no shortcuts, and with a clear purpose behind everything he does.

Entrepreneur and certified dive instructor with thousands of hours of hands-on experience. Before Skallywag, he spent years in the Cayman Islands running dive operations, where he developed a deep respect for craftsmanship, reliability, and tools that perform when it matters most.

That mindset carried into Skallywag Tactical—building blades and gear designed to be used, not just looked at. No excess, no gimmicks—just functional, purpose-driven design backed by experience.

Maureen Lynne


Maureen Lynne didn’t set out to follow a blueprint—she built her own. With a background rooted in hard work, creativity, and a deep respect for the slower, more intentional side of life, she created Skallywag Life as an extension of that mindset.

Balancing business, family, and a life close to the land, Maureen brings a grounded perspective to everything she builds. Skallywag isn’t about chasing trends—it’s about creating something real, something steady, and something that lasts.
